Chief Justice John Glover Roberts Jr. defended the integrity of the Supreme Court of the United States on 9th September.
He said that disagreement with its decisions should not lead to questions about its legitimacy.
He said that all of the courts opinions are open to criticism, but he focused that simply because people disagree with opinions, is not a basis for questioning the legitimacy of the court.
The Supreme Courts approval rating has dropped to its lowest levels ever in public opinion polls which was led by unhappy Democrats.
John Glover Roberts Jr. is an American lawyer and jurist. He was born on 27th January 1955.
He became 17th chief justice of the United States since 29th September, 2005 in Supreme Court of the United States.
